We found this recipe idea at FamilyFun.com.
3.4-ounce box vanilla pudding mix
Jelly beans (we use the black ones)
LifeSavers Gummies
Plastic Easter eggs (we use the smaller half)
2 empty egg cartons
Make the pudding according to the directions on the box. Fit a jelly bean in the center of a gummy Lifesaver and place it in one half of the plastic egg.

(sorry about the small pic)
Do this for each eyeball. Fill the egg with a dollop of the pudding (so it’s the size eyeball you’d like) and place in the egg carton for support. Place in the freezer for about 3 hours.

You want them to be firm. To remove after they’ve set, let them rest at room temperature for about 5 minutes and then gently squeeze them out of the plastic egg. Ready for use immediately or place the eyeballs into a freezer safe dish and keep for up to 2 days before use. Makes about 24 eyeballs.
These are always the hit of the party with the adults and kids. They actually taste pretty good too.

We always have a Halloween party, so we will def. be trying this one! FUN!
Oh yucky :-)
Sorry about your back!
ps. those eyeballs are awful looking. I might just make them now to freak the boys out!
Those look wonderfully gross!! :)
GROSS! Can't wait to try them :)
I was just thinking about Halloween today..thanks for the great party idea..
My cousin is bringing her 7 and 9 year old boys (and her 2.5 year old twins!) to visit tomorrow. This sounds like a great project to do with the boys while the little ones are sleeping. I hope I still have eggs somewhere!
I dont think I have ever said this before, but them eyeballs look good enough to eat! Now I need to remember this so that when me and the kids think its a perfect time to make eyeballs, we have it right on hand! Thanks. From the Lerwills!
My little monster will love these. I just have to remember them again around Halloween!
This is a super fantastic idea. I wonder if you took some red gel icing and "lined" the eggs first it would look "bloodshot"? I can't wait to try it and see!
The eyeballs are cool, but my FAVORITE is the marshmallow ghost holding up the label!! I LOVE IT!
thank you so much for posting this!! we had a halloween party this past weekend and the eyes were a big hit! :)
